Farmworker and immigrant worker legal services programs throughout the Midwest collaborate annually to present a pre-season farmworker law training targeted primarily to farmworker and immigrant worker advocates employed by the various programs. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s training will again be virtual. Some of the presentations will be live and others are pre-recorded.

The training is open to participants from any interested legal services offices or non-profit public interest law firms, as well as others who represent agricultural or immigrant workers with their legal issues. This training will introduce seasonal and full-time staff to the various legal issues and unique barriers that farmworkers and immigrant workers face; there is a great emphasis on outreach to workers.

For more information and documents, see the training event on the CORT website.
