Sharing the Care helps our nation's working poor and others who fall through the cracks of our health care system. These patients often earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but cannot afford health insurance for themselves or their families. Furthermore, many low-income elderly people cannot get the medicines they need through Medicare or state programs. Through Sharing the Care, eligible patients are able to obtain most of Pfizer's state-of-the-art prescription medicines free-of-charge directly and immediately from the community, migrant or homeless health center that already provides their care.
