The Center for Civil Justice is seeking an  attorney who is passionate and creative about advocating for low-income persons, using litigation, including class actions, and policy advocacy to address systemic problems.    CCJ  is a small organization that addresses problems with federal, state, and local publicly funded programs for low-income persons,  e.g. Medicaid, SNAP, CHIP and TANF.  We seek candidates with recent affirmative litigation experience, preferably in federal courts and with government programs.   Must be member of Michigan Bar or eligible to waive in due to 3 years of recent practice in another state.   We are looking for someone, probably with 3 to 6 years of experience,  who is interested in building a career in the mid-Michigan area (based in Saginaw) doing this kind of impact work .   We are an equal opportunity employer.  www.ccj-mi.org  Cover letter and resume should be emailed to Nycole Sykes,  nsykes@ccj-mi.org
