Legal Assistance Center - Executive Director

    This is advanced professional, administrative and managerial work in planning, directing and providing oversight to the Legal Assistance Center (LAC). Work is performed under the guidance and direction of the LAC Board of Trustees. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation of the LAC, including programmatic, personnel, legal and financial functions, interpretation and implementation of established policies, development of procedures and methods. The ideal candidate must be a strong and experienced executive with three - five years of progressively responsible administrative experience managing an agency, department or organization. Minimum requirements, a bachelor's degree in human services, public administration, business or a related field is required. An advanced degree or a J.D. degree and eligibility for membership in the Michigan bar preferred.

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
