CORT Substantive Law: Housing Training
This 2 day housing training is designed for low income housing advocates. It will focus on issues related to the federal housing programs and fair housing law, and will feature nationally recognized presenters.
This training will be held in Ann Arbor at Weber's Inn.
As a CORT-sponsored event, there is no fee for programs participating in CORT.
For registrants from Ohio, Michigan, and West Virginia legal services programs not participating in CORT, the registration fee is the pro-rata share of the cost of the training plus a surcharge of $300. For these participants, the registration fee is $600 ($400 for one day).
For other participants, the registration fee is the pro rata share of the cost of the training plus 20%. For these participants, the registration fee is $300 ($175 for one day).
Room and Board
The training will take place at the Weber’s Inn in Ann Arbor, Michigan (3050 Jackson Rd.). Room and board will be billed to participants’ programs after the training. Approximate cost of the rooms is $89.00 per day; approximate cost of meals, including breaks, is $50 per day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and break refreshments will be provided.

The deadline for cancellation of your registration for attendance, room and/or meals is June 7, 2011. Registrants canceling after this date will be billed for any unavoidable costs incurred as a result of the late cancellation.

You will receive a confirmation letter with directions to the training site before the training. If you don’t receive this letter by June 3, 2011, please contact Kerri Ferrari at MPLP.
CANCELLATION DEADLINE: You must cancel your registration for attendance, room and/or meals on or before June 7, 2011, or you will be billed for any unavoidable room and board costs.
