This training is offered free of charge and includes lunch.
This training will feature special guest speaker Ms. Cheryl Zalenski, director of the American Bar Association Center for Pro Bono. The Center provides technical assistance and means for encouraging pro bono activity to and among pro bono programs, bar associations, legal services programs, law firms, corporate legal departments, government attorney offices, law schools, and other segments of the legal profession.
Ms. Zalenski will be joined by a growing list of Michigan attorneys including but not limited to: Kirsten Enstice, program director of the Diocese of Kalamazoo Immigration Assistance Program; Lynda Krupp, managing attorney, Legal Aid and Defender Association; Bob Gillett, executive director of Legal Services of South Central Michigan; Ashley Lowe, assistant professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School; and Heidi Naasko, pro bono coordinator at the Dykema Gossett Ann Arbor office.
